The System Conservation Pilot Program was not reauthorized in the final session of Congress in 2024. However, the SCPP remains a meaningful tool to explore and understand the opportunities and challenges with conservation programs in the Upper Division States. The Commission is hopeful that SCPP can be reauthorized as a tool for consideration in 2025 and 2026.
At this time, the UCRC has not opened applications for 2025 SCPP. However, we will review the progress of reauthorizing legislation. We are awaiting further information.
